Mike Ulrich
Mike is a Senior Project Manager and is responsible for performing and managing various traffic engineering studies. These studies include signal warrant analyses, safety studies, speed studies, volume studies, parking studies and work zone designs.
Mike has provided traffic engineering services including design plan reviews, traffic impact study reviews, development of standards of practice for various office processes, and training for the Maryland State Highway Administration (MDSHA) District Traffic staff. Mike has 53 years of experience in the traffic field with 34 years of experience devoted to the Maryland State Highway Administration (MDSHA) as an engineer working for the Traffic Engineering Design Division, Traffic Development and Support Division and managing projects for the Director of the Office of Traffic and Safety in signing, pavement marking and work-zone traffic control. Mike was also a Team Leader for Anne Arundel County in the MDSHA District 5 office. Mike moved to Traffic Concepts, Inc. in 2001 and has over 19 years of experience in the private sector. Mike has provided expert testimony for projects in various counties throughout the State of Maryland. Mike has received training from the University of Maryland, Northwestern University in Chicago, Federal Highway Administration, Texas Department of Transportation and was a member of the Washington D.C. section of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (ITE). |
